You may not yet aware of the Leon Cycle company name, but there’s a good chance that you’ve seen their first bike brand, NCM. The brand name is derived from ‘Nickel Cobalt Magnesium’, the make-up of the battery. It’s only their ‘first’ brand because this year they’ll be launching two new brands. NCM will launch a new range of city bikes C5/C7 and a new brand ET.Cycle will cover fat series ebikes F720/F1000.

This was based upon total sales for 2020 of NT$70 billion (A$3.22 billion) meaning that the net profit percentage rate was still a quite modest 7.1%. Giant said all its sales … Read More

We’ve all seen increased cycling activity during Covid lockdowns and heard about the surge in demand for bicycles and related equipment. But it’s interesting to see some hard data that precisely measures cycling activity, even if it’s only a snapshot from six locations around Australia. By Marc Sani: The notion that perhaps too few high-value bicycle brands maintain too much clout among the globe’s major frame and component manufacturers seldom comes up in conversation. But unless you’re living in a cave, it takes no genius to note that the industry’s key manufacturers are tightly linked to... Read More
