Metro Cycles is an independent local bike shop in Newcastle NSW offering sale, service and hire of bicycles. It has the region’s largest selection of quality commuter, trekking and utility bikes with over 100 electric and non-electric bikes on display plus an extensive range of parts and accessories.

It is located in the heart of the rapidly developing CBD, close to the city transport interchange, government offices, harbourside precinct and hundreds of new apartments.

Metro Cycles has a long-term, low-cost lease of its renovated premises which include 220m2 floorspace, an additional 100m2 storage in mezzanine lofts plus fully equipped workshop and administration facilities.

The business has grown rapidly in its eight years of operation and has significant potential for future growth. It currently employs five staff, has annual revenue exceeding $1.5 million and over $500,000 stock on hand.

Metro Cycles is a partnership owned and operated by Lyn Patrick and Bernard Hockings since October 2014. They’ve worked hard to create a successful business which they are now offering for sale to enable people with new energy and ideas to take advantage of significant opportunities for further growth and improvement.
