Senior Bicycle Mechanic / Workshop Manager

Salary: $80-$90k plus bonus

This is a unique opportunity for the right applicant to take up a senior position at one of Sydney’s leading bicycle stores, located in the heart of the scenic Northern Beaches region.

• Negotiable salary based on level of experience and skill set.
• Plus negotiable bonus structure based on realistic targets achieved.

Key requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a professional bicycle workshop or retail bicycle store with genuine skill, knowledge and experience working on high end bicycles from the major brands and
• Expert technical knowledge working with product from major component manufacturers such as Shimano, SRAM, Fox and Rockshox.

The successful applicant needs to be process driven and excited about improving efficiency and measuring the performance of the business.

This is a solid long term business.
This position would suit a senior mechanic or workshop manager with leadership skills that is looking to make a career move with potential for further advancement.

The owner has over 30 years experience in the business, working full time in the store, offering a complete support network, including ongoing business and technical training opportunities, expert financial management (CA level) and a substantial marketing budget to drive growth.

The business was recently awarded Australian dealer of the year by a major bike brand.
