Terms and Conditions of Advertising

All prices quoted exclude GST.

Newsletters will be emailed on the last Friday of each month for the following month (excepting Sept & Oct 2019).

Newsletter advertising material deadline is seven days prior to each newsletter release date. Web advertising deadline is seven days prior to the start of each month or seven days prior to your booking commencement date for periodical advertisements. See Advertising Deadlines for specific dates.

Advertisements will be posted and billed on a calendar month basis.

We reserve the right to refuse any advertisements including sponsored content for any reason, including, but not restricted to: obscene content, discriminatory content and content not meeting adequate quality or technical standards.

Pre-Payment Discount

For payment of any full contract at the time of booking, please deduct 10% from the total payment price. Only bookings of six months or more are eligible for pre-payment discounts.

Prompt Payment Discount

For payments received within seven days of invoice, please deduct 5% from that invoice amount. Prompt payment discount can only be claimed if there are no prior outstanding invoices. Regular account payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice.

Advertisements of customers who fall more than 15 days overdue without contacting us will be taken down until their account is back within payment terms.

Multiple Booking Discounts

You will see 1, 3, 6 and 12 month rates on the rates table with discounts of 15%, 30% and 50%. We offer these large discounts both to reward customer loyalty and to encourage the efficiencies and enhanced marketing impact that result from longer term bookings.

To qualify for these large multiple booking discounts you must book for a continuous run of months and keep your account within payment terms. If either of these conditions is not met the rate will revert to the one month rate.

You may mix ads of different sizes within a multi month booking and may change artwork at any time, up to a maximum of once per month.

Banner Rotations

In the accompanying rates table you will see two sets of rates, the first for ‘Exclusive
Positions’ the second for ‘Rotated Positions’. Exclusive Position means that you will have that space 100% to yourself, on the page that you specify, for the duration of your booking. Rotated Position means advertisements will be shared in rotation with a maximum of two other advertisers. Rotated Position advertising rates will not change, regardless if there is one, two or three ads in rotation. This will solely depend upon
booking demand for each position.

In all cases, advertisements can be either static or an animated .gif file with no more than four images.

Banner Placement

If you pay the Exclusive Positions rate, you can book your ad to appear on any specific page and it will be served with no rotations on that page. For example, you might prefer the home page or you might prefer to hold an exclusive position on the News page or Features page.

Where the full ‘inventory’ of advertising positions is not sold for all pages, then we may,
at our discretion, also run some advertisements on additional pages at no extra cost.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without notifying you. If you have an active booking and are within payment terms, the terms and conditions that were applicable at the time of your booking will remain for the duration of your booking.

Trade Directory Subscription

As the Trade Directory grows, you will have the option of a free or paid Trade Directory listing. Paid listings will include your company logo and link back to your own website and will be listed at the beginning of each category in alphabetical order. Free listings will only include your Company name and Suburb location and will appear in alphabetical order commencing beneath any paid subscriptions.

The subscription fee is required to be paid via an automated monthly credit/debit card charge or monthly direct debit from your bank account. This subscription will automatically renew at the beginning of each month until we are notified by you to cease your listing. We require 7 days notice before the end of a calendar month, to cancel your automatic payment. If we are notified with less than 7 days to the end of the month, the following month will be charged as your final month. Trade Directory subscriptions are required to be a minimum 3 month booking, after which you can cancel at any time with notice.

If you wish to pay for your Trade Directory listing by invoice, then you can take out an annual subscription with a 10% saving on the monthly rate. Please refer to the latest Media Kit for prices.
