Eurobike To Proceed in November with B2B Only Format
Messe Friedrichshafen has announced that Eurobike 2020 will move to November citing that it was “practically impossible” to run on the planned date in September. The organisers will now hold a one-off Eurobike Special show from 24th to 26th November 2020, with a pure B2B format.
Stefan Reisinger, Head of Eurobike initially proposed a “Plan B” date back in April in a video message. In its new format, the trade fair will run for three weekdays, without a public day and will take into account the interests of the industry, retail and the media, as the most important stakeholders in this business-focused show.
The Public Day, Eurobike Party, Test and Demo Areas and other elements from the supporting programme will not be run.
The shorter duration and lower concentration means that exhibitors will be offered cost benefits in the form of reduced booth prices.
Regarding availability and prices for accommodation in Friedrichshafen and the surrounding area, the November date will mean more available at lower prices compared to the usually scarce and expensive options.
