KWT Imports is a wholesaler for bicycle parts and accessories in Australia. We distribute the brands Maxxis Bike Tyres, Kenny Racing & Funn Components. In all we sell over 43 brands to over 800 bicycle retailers across the nation and have been doing it for over 50 years – www.kwtimports.com.au

We are looking for someone to manage some of our key brands in the marketplace.

This person must have extensive experience in wholesaling and/or brand management and will wholeheartedly take ownership of these brands and drive them in the market.

All areas of brand management will be required for this role such as

• Carry out a financial plan that delivers on our mutually aligned corporate sales, margin, and inventory goals
• Understanding and executing a clear communication & marketing strategy that is consistent with the requirements of the brand and its position in the market
• Manage inventory purchasing and the delivery cycle
• Review inline, excess, and obsolete inventory velocity on a monthly basis to ensure sales plans/initiatives are in place to maximize sell-through
• Offer technical and warranty advice where required
• Create SKU’s/ product profiles
• Coordinating and adhering to a strict marketing budget that encompasses traditional and new forms of media
• Manage and coordinate social media strategy for each brand

We are looking for candidates who

• Preferably minimum 3 years’ experience in the bicycle industry (but not essential)
• Passionate about cycling
• Working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Marketing to maximize the market realization
• Take ownership of the life cycle of a product portfolio – from ordering, promotion, price, placement, sales, and after-market service.
• Liaise with brands to assist in clear product planning, placement, and promotion within their brand guidelines
• Have very good interpersonal skills valuing attention to detail, handling at times a variety of responsibilities
• Willingness to attend events local Mountain bike events & trade shows as a representative of the company
• Proven track record of comprehensive brand management

Package Remuneration

• $50,000 p.a.
• Up to $20,000 in commission paid on profitability and performance – paid monthly
• $10,000 – Bonus paid on performance paid annually
