Remco Tools have just released a brand new, compact design of motorised bike lift workshop stand that combines quality and capacity with fantastic value for money.

Not only does this mean that bicycle shops can upgrade their workshops at a more affordable price, but it even has potential as a new retail sale income stream, because some of your enthusiast customers might want one for their home garage.

These days, as the percentage of Australia’s total bike fleet that is e-powered continues to climb, it’s no longer a luxury for bicycle stores to have motorised work stands.

You can take your existing Park Tool or other clamp and use it with the standard Remco Tools workstand.

As a store owner or manager, the last thing you want is for your mechanic have a lifting strain injury. Quite apart from the insurance hassles and loss of workshop capacity, it’s challenging to recruit and retail good bicycle mechanics these days, so they’re more likely to be happy and stay when given an optimal working environment.

There’s also the everyday productivity benefits of mechanics being able to finely adjust with the push of a button each bike to the optimal height they need for working on the bottom bracket, handlebars or whatever other component, taking advantage of the Remco’s three memory presets.

The Remco Tools motorised bike lift has a 45 kg lifting capacity, ample for the heaviest e-mtb or e-cargo bike.

There’s plenty of safety and reliability margin thanks to Remco’s 45 kg lift capacity.

It also features a modular system where you can either bolt it directly to your workshop floor or purchase an additional base plate.

Most amazing of all is the price. Some work stands cost $3,000 or $4,000 each, meaning quite a daunting investment for a workshop with multiple work stations. But the Remco Tools motorised bike lift starts at an amazing $1,315 + GST. This is for the bolt-in version, excluding a bike clamp. The Remco is compatible with existing popular clamps from Park Tool, Feedback Sports and EVT.

In Australia the standard configuration is for the Park Tools head, with the Feedback unit chuck adaptor available upon request.

The optional base plate, which has the same footprint as the Park PRS 3.3 costs $485+GST. There’s also a dual bike lift adaptor which allows for two bike lifts to be installed back to back, that costs $299 + GST.
