Rilu Fills a Growing Product Range Gap

Largely thanks to e-bikes, the concept of ‘men’s frames’ and ‘ladies frames’ is long dead. Today, step-through is the best e-bike option for most customers, regardless of gender.

Long established Melbourne based e-bike brand Rilu has correctly assessed that within the step-through e-bike category, the Australian bike industry has largely overlooked the market demand for step-through folding e-bikes.

Rilu designs their bikes in house and their frames are made in the same factory as a world leading “European” brand. Rilu is certainly not in the business of making yet another mountain bike. Instead, they carefully listen to customers who are sometimes overlooked by the major brands. This philosophy of inclusivity acknowledges that not everyone is into racing and many people have bad knees, hips or other issues that make a Rilu low step-through, easy to ride e-bike their perfect solution.
