SCV Imports Signs with High-Principle Bikepacking Brand

SCV Imports has become the exclusive distributor for the UK’s Apidura, to introduce its bikepacking products to the Australian market.

Apidura is an independent, family run business based in London, with a focus on precision-crafted bikepacking luggage, while standing against “aggressive marketing, impulse consumption and waste”.

It was established in 2013 by Tori Fahey and Pierre Coeffe, who were frustrated by a lack of technical gear available for bike packing, compared to other areas of cycling.

The B Corp certified company’s commitment to sustainability extends to offering free repairs on Apidura bags, along with tutorials to help customers extend the life of their products.

The company claims the mantle of releasing the world’s first waterproof bikepacking bags in 2016, followed by the world’s first ultralight race-focused packs two years later.

In 2022, it announced the release of the world’s first aerodynamically optimised packing system.

SCV Imports CEO Stuart Voysey said the new partnership is in line with his company’s philosophy to work with ‘best of breed’ brands.
