SCV Imports Picks Up Three New Agencies
NSW Central coast based wholesaler SCV imports is now the exclusive agents for three new brands.
Lauf, which is possibly the only global bicycle brand to be based in Iceland, burst onto the scene in 2013 with their revolutionary carbon fibre ‘leaf spring’ suspension forks. These are significantly lighter than traditional telescopic suspension forks.
Since then they’ve added gravel bikes, handlebars and non-suspension road forks to their product range. SCV has stock of the bars and all fork models but the frames are only available by request.
SCV founder Stuart Voysey said, “We sell a considerable amount into the gravel and adventure market with our brands Salsa, Soma and Surly so Lauf fits the bill for our mix. Lauf are a brand that understands light weight, strength and durability for gravel adventures.”
Halo wheels is the second new brand. SCV will be receiving its stock for Halo wheels at the end of February.
Halo have been running for 20 years and have a strong following in the Enduro, Downhill and now the gravel and commuter markets.
“We chose Halo not only because of their quality and strength in the global market but also due to their being owned by Ison,” Stuart explained. “Ison are a large distributor in the UK and they understand the importance of supporting bricks and mortar shops.”
The final new addition to SCV’s portfolio is Two Fish, based in California. They make a range of holders and attachments for carrying lights, locks, pumps, bottles and so on.
