Taipei Cycle ‘Rescheduled’ Due to Corona Virus

With the surging infection rate and death toll from the coronavirus, it seemed inevitable for more than a week before the press conference was finally held on Tuesday 11^th February, that TAITRA, organisers of the huge annual Taipei Cycle would have no option but to cancel 2020’s show, which was due to be held from 4^th to 7^th March 2020.

Each year approximately 180-200 Australian bicycle trade members travel to Taiwan for Taipei Cycle.

Officially they have ‘rescheduled’ to run a much smaller show from 14^th to 16^th May 2020. However it remains to be seen if the virus situation is any better by that date and if this revised show will proceed.
