New Giant Thornleigh Store Opening Soon

This is the site of the about to open Giant Thornleigh.

Canberra based retailer Pushys is expanding into the Sydney market. They’re starting a brand new store in the outer northern western suburb of Thornleigh 27 km from the city centre. The new store which will be at 292 Pennant Hills Road Thornleigh is on the same side of the road almost next door to two existing shops. Cyclesport Thornleigh is a Specialized dealer at 286 Pennant Hills Road and Sydney Electric Bikes Thornleigh is at 274a Pennant Hills Road.

Measuring 335 square metres, the large new store has its own off street parking and backs onto Thornleigh railway station.

“We’ll be selling 100% Giant bicycles but all brands of P&A,” said Pushys co-owner Shane Wolki. We should be open by early October. We’re still looking for good sales staff, a mechanic an assistant manager and weekend casuals.”

Meanwhile, back on 15th July, Pushys also took over the existing Giant Adelaide store, which was the last store directly owned and operated by Giant Australia. The store faces Hindmarsh Square, less than 200 metres from Adelaide’s core shopping precinct Rundle Mall.

“It’s going very well,” said Shane. We’ve retained the existing staff including store manager Craig Yates and they’re all doing a great job.”
