New Dates and Bigger New Venue for Handmade Bicycle Show Australia

After two successful years at the historic North Melbourne Meat Markets, the Handmade Bicycle Show Australia (HBSA) is moving to a new venue and later dates for 2020.

The HSBA will now be held from Friday 16th October to Sunday 18th October at Seaworks, Williamstown, Vic.

Williamstown is a historic waterfront suburb of Melbourne on the western banks of where the Yarra River meets Port Phillip Ban.

Seaworks is part of Williamstown’s nautical history and includes the Maritime Museum. The historic site includes old wharves, slipways and warehouses.

HBSA co-founder Michael Hands said, “2020 will be the third edition of the show. With all we’ve learned so far we’re looking forward to continued growth. We are a showcase and marketing tool for the bespoke bicycle industry and the amazing artisans within it.”

For 2020 the HBSA is adding an apparel section along with a separate P&A section. But the main focus will remain upon the bicycle and frame builders. It’s a show requirement that the owners / principals of each company must be present at their display.
