eNews – October 2019
Welcome to the first ever Latz Report monthly e-newsletter! I’ve created The Latz Report to serve the bicycle industry. Its vision is to help bicycle industry members become more profitable. It will be sent to all bike industry members throughout Australia and New Zealand.
I’ll be sending you a newsletter on the last Friday of each month. Please feel free to share it with your bike industry colleagues. Subscription is free, and I’m happy for you to have multiple subscriptions within your business, for example if your workshop has a separate address or if you’d also like a copy to your personal email.
The Latz Report will always be 100% focused upon serving the bicycle trade. It will not cater for consumers, so my goal is to only have trade members on the mailing list.
I greatly appreciate your input, which will benefit everyone. Please make use of our comments facility at the bottom of each article. Feel free to write me an email about any issue that is of concern to you. If you hear of any news, or are reaching a milestone in your business, please let me know.
Finally for those of you who don’t know me and are wondering why this newsletter would have such a funny name, commencing in 1989 my wife and I founded and published a range of cycling magazines, websites and books that included Bicycling Australia, Mountain Biking Australia, Bicycling Trade and Bicycling Yearbook. Having run that business for 25 years before selling it, I needed to come up with a different name for my new trade newsletter. As luck would have it, my family name is both short and very rare, making it ideal to register on the web and social media. Thanks dad!
I hope you enjoy The Latz Report and I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best
Phil Latz
