Otso is a brand new, engineering-driven bike brand by the people who created Wolf Tooth components. Otso is offering a range of adventure focused framesets in carbon, stainless steel and titanium.

Otso means ‘spirit of the bear’ in Finnish mythology, the most important, revered, and respected animal of all. Otso’s founders are a group of qualified mechanical engineers who are, based in Burnsville, which is just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. In short, this is a business founded and run by keen cyclists who are obsessed with creating the equipment that they want to ride.

They are continuing to run Wolf Tooth which makes high-end CNC machined bicycle components including chainrings, seat post clamps, headsets, workshop tools and more, designed and manufactured within their own facility in the USA.

SCV Imports, which is already the Australian distributor of Wolf Tooth, has recently been announced as the exclusive Australian distribution partner for Otso.

Otso’s range includes frames and forks. Dealers can choose to sell as is, or source components to build and sell complete bikes.

There are four models in the Otso range.

The Warakin Ti is an efficient, responsive, sprightly titanium bike that can handle any road in any weather.

Warakin also comes in a stainless steel model. The name Warakin describes a wolf-like creature of American folklore whose name means ‘carries off dogs.’

It has extra mounting points for bottles and racks, easily accessible internal cable routing options, compatibility for 1x or 2x electronic or mechanical drivetrains, and the ability to run a dropper post.

The Voytek is Otso’s industry leading Fatbike that’s designed to be more agile than other fat bikes thanks to a narrower ‘Q factor’ (pedal spacing width) and more aggressive XC race geometry.
