Peter Stevens Group to Take Over ABUS Distribution in Australia
On 1st November 2020 Peter Stevens Group which includes PSI Cycling has announced an exclusive distribution deal with ABUS, the German manufacturer of motorcycle locks, bicycle locks and helmets, commencing 1st January 2021.
Previously the brand was separately distributed by Velo Vita & TMO to the bicycle trade and Moto National Accessories P/L to the motorcycle trade.
ABUS will be serviced by a dedicated team of territory account managers as well as being supported by Peter Stevens Group’s marketing team.

In addition to bicycle locks, Abus also sells bicycle helmets overseas across road, MTB, urban and kid’s categories. PSI Cycling plans to introduce Abus helmets into the Australian market.
Abus was founded in 1924. It remains family owned and now employs more than 3,500 people worldwide. Its activities include security products beyond only cycling. Abus sponsors the Movistar pro cycling team who wear its helmets.
