Innovative Australian global success story Knog is announcing a change of distribution for the New Zealand market. Effective from March 2020 Knog will be going ‘Dealer Direct’ for New Zealand, ending their previous distribution arrangement with Bikes International.

Knog already successfully operates dealer direct for a small group of Australian dealers, which acts as a great complement to their long time Australian distributor Apollo, who will continue to manage the bulk of Australian accounts.

Colin Brown, Knog’s International Sales Manager will be traveling around NZ during March to visit dealers and set up new accounts. This person to person approach allows Knog to talk about the features and benefits behind their products, as well as establishing direct relationships with retailers.

Knog’s PWR offers a complete modular lighting ecosystem.

Knog are busy developing a new website with B2B ordering and free shipping, launching in April.

“Our new website will be focused on Knog’s obsession with developing the very best products,” said Knog CEO Hugo Davidson. “These lovingly designed products allow our customers to explore their concept of ‘Freedom’, be that a two week bike-packing adventure or just getting home from work safely.

Knog’s PWR battery can not only power you lights, but re-charge your phone.

“May will also see upgrades to our PWR range of modular bike light and accessories, which are all being upgraded with a higher lumen output. PWR is designed for cyclists that journey further and want the best products without packing any unnecessary equipment. With our PWR solar charger also launching in May, the PWR range will allow cyclist to have a closed loop lighting and power system and be able to be fully self-sufficient without the need for external power.”

In addition to the new PWR charger and upgrades, Knog are launching a new model of their historical customer favourite, the Blinder lights which have been upgraded to 200 lumens and feature unique flash patterns. They’ve also launched Plug, a simple everyday commuter light.

Knog’s new Plug is the latest in a long line of minimalist but functional and elegant designs from Knog.
