Queensland-based KWT Imports has recently been appointed as the Australian distributor for MicroSHIFT and will be offering this great quality drive-train product through its extensive dealer network.
MicroSHIFT, a Taiwanese drivetrain brand, has been flying under the radar for some time, building OEM spec components since 1999.
Recently, MicroSHIFT came out from the shadows launching their highly acclaimed, robust and wallet friendly 1×9 Advent and 1 x10 AdventX mountain bike group sets. The Advent range has been receiving very favourable reviews for their reliability and value for money priced at $249 and $299 RRP respectively.
Conveniently both groups also have an option to go gravel instead of MTB, with a drop bar shifter added into the mix (with even an optional left-hand shifter with dropper remote lever).
Soon KWT will be launching a new campaign called ‘Why 1 X?’ This will give shops clear talking points to their customers when offering the choice to go to a 1 x drive chain. This will become more relevant when some bike brands will be landing models that come spec’d with another exciting new product about which an announcement coming on 9th September 2020.
Gus Juffer, the brand manager for MicroSHIFT, explained that whilst it is relatively easy to make exceptionally well-made products the biggest challenge which they are been able to overcome is the ability to make consistently great and reliable products at the right price. He said they have been working at length for years to reach this tipping point and are very excited, with a lot of interest worldwide about the advent of MicroSHIFT.
KWT will be carrying most of the MicroSHIFT range, which in addition to the MTB groups already described, includes road and gravel group sets, drop bar levers and a wide range of derailleurs and cassettes. Their first stock has already landed and the remainder is arriving during the first week of September.
