Two leading brands in pedal and shoe technology, HT Components and FLR, have recently been added to GPI Apollo’s already extensive product line-up.

HT Components is a renowned innovator in pedal technology, with a broad range of clipless and flat pedal options, while FLR’s flagship F-XX is the shoe of choice for many Pro Tour riders including dual Vuelta Espana stage winner Jay Vine.

HT’s reputation for cutting-edge pedal designs – prioritising performance, durability and style – has been taken to the next level with its M2, X3, T2 and ME03 MTB models.

The M2 has been ridden to several international victories, including taking Swiss cross country ace Nino Schurter to his recent record-breaking tally of 35 World Cup victories.

Equally, the Taiwanese brand’s diverse range of pedals, catering to various road and dirt cycling disciplines, offers enhanced riding experiences for riders of all levels.

F-XX

FLR’s F-XX is putting the blowtorch to its rivals in elite pelotons.

Lighter, stronger and, as a result, faster, the F-XX has been developed in collaboration with riders from UCI ProTour outfits Team UAE Emirates and Team Arkéa–Samsic and is challenging other brands to keep pace with its advancements in performance.

The aerodynamically designed F-XX was carefully crafted with a one-piece seamless microfiber upper that also provides an incredible level of comfort and breathability.

Six air mesh inserts across the toe box and side panels create an even airflow and excellent ventilation for the entire foot.

Its elite R500 Road Carbon Outsole delivers maximum power transfer and a sculpted foot with supportive heel that aids to increase blood flow, reduce hot spots and ensure maximum performance output.

In addition, the F-XX’s closure system comprises two independent Atop dials that optimise closure in each of the critical foot zones, ensuring a secure fit, zero movement and foot comfort on even the longest rides.

They are all key reasons Queenslander Jay Vine has been a long-term fan and supporter of the F-XX, escalating its profile in the Australian market as Jay backed up his 2022 Vuelta stage wins with another highly successful season in 2023.
