Effective from today, Ed Price is taking over from Mel Doyle as Media Sales Manager for The Latz Report, The Latz Report Yearbook and the Micromobility Report.
Publisher Phil Latz said, “I’d like to thank Mel Doyle for the outstanding job she’s done through a difficult Covid affected year. Catie, Linda and I all wish Mel all the best in her important new role at NSW National Parks helping to implement their bushfire recovery program.
“I’d also like to welcome aboard Ed Price who comes with a highly impressive professional and business career under his belt. I have no doubt that despite throwing Ed straight into the ‘deep end’ with the 2021 Yearbook print edition approaching deadline, he will quickly get up to speed.”
In addition to his professional and business experience, Ed is well qualified for the role through having extensive personal experience with cycling.
“I’m really excited to be working in an industry I am so passionate about,” Ed explained.
“My earliest and best memories from childhood are of riding my bike through the English countryside and the feeling of freedom that it brought.”
Ed still draws on that feeling whilst regularly cycling around his home in the NSW Illawarra, whether training for an Ironman or just for the fun of it.
For the previous two and a half years, Ed honed his marketing and sales skills whilst successfully running his own business in the fitness industry and can empathise will the challenges and changes faced by many in the bike industry. Preceding this Ed worked in the education sector for 16 years.
“I can’t wait to start talking to our friends in the industry across Australia and helping them to grow their business and supporting them in their roles.”
Ed can be contacted directly at email@example.com He will also have a direct mobile phone number which had not yet be set at the time of writing.
