Groupe Sportif Becomes Australian Agent for Stages
Stages Cycling entered the cycling market almost a decade ago, best known for their compact power meters that integrate with a wide variety of crankset brands and models.
Melbourne based distributor Groupe Sportif has just announced that they will be distributing all Stages Cycling products effective from 1st March 2020.
“We are pleased to begin working with Stages Cycling in such an exciting period of their product evolution into GEN3 Power products and the fantastic new STAGESBIKE, which sets a new benchmark in quality and performance in the home trainer market” saidMark Waldron, Managing Director at Groupe Sportif.
Meanwhile Bernie Doering, Senior Vice President of global sales & marketing at Stages Cycling said, “Stages Cycling sees a bright future in the Australian market with this new collaboration accompanied by the recently announced better pricing to Australian consumers.”
FE Sports was the previous distributor of Stages in Australia. Because they also distribute Wahoo, and both companies are launching bikes, it presented a potential product overlap conflict so FE Sports chose to retain Wahoo and relinquish Stages distribution.
